CONSOLIDATOR Application Instructions and Warranty Information

Surface Preparation: SURFACE MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY. Remove all surface dirt, stains and residues, hot water pressure washer preferred, and cleaners - non-acid liquid detergents or bleach. Prior sealers must be totally removed with strippers, media blasting or other appropriate method.

Application Instructions:

1. Prepare surface using directions on this label and on the website: www.kinlochusa.com.

2. Surface must be dry and clean during application and for 24 hours after application. Air temperature during application and for 24 hours after application must be between 45-100°F.

3. Open container and STIR WELL WITH STIR STICK.

4. Recommended Application Method: HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) SPRAY SYSTEM. Spray 6-8 inches from surface in even slow strokes and without pooling. Avoid overspray. Wipe off excess with acetone immediately. Also, solvent grade paint roller, brush, or rag can be used.

5. Observe product soaking into surface evenly and AVOID POOLING. Brush or roll excess into untreated areas or wipe off with a clean rag. Pooling will not cure properly and may appear glossy and crack.

6. Clean up spray equipment and brushes with Acetone after application.

7. Properly dispose of gloves, rollers, rags, after each use.

8. Clean threads of this bucket and lid completely after each use to prevent lid from sticking shut.

Swimming Pool Copings:

1. First apply CONSOLIDATOR following label instructions.

2. Wait four (4) hours for CONSOLIDATOR to set-up.

3. Apply EAP over CONSOLIDATOR following label instructions.

Graffiti Removal: Use isopropyl rubbing alcohol ragging and brushing off graffiti or use standard graffiti cleaners available in most stores.

CAUTION:

1. Always wear OSHA approved respiratory protection. Fresh air exhaust should be provided in the work area. If aerosols or mists are formed, remove affected person to fresh air. Possible discomfort includes irritation of mucous lining (nose, throat, eyes), cough, sneezing and flow of tears. Call physician immediately if breathing difficulties occur.

2. Product may cause skin irritation. Wear butyl-rubber gloves and other skin protection to avoid contact. In the event of contact with the skin, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Do not use organic solvents since they may dry or irritate the skin or act as a carrier for chemical absorption.

3. Product may cause eye irritation. Chemical safety goggles or splash shields are recommended. Do not wear contacts without eye protection. Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes after contact with eyes and get medical attention.

4. Do not swallow. If accidentally swallowed, rinse mouth thoroughly with water and, afterwards, drink plenty of water. In case of any discomfort, obtain immediate medical attention.

LIMITED 10 YEAR WARRANTY

COMPANY WARRANTS THAT CONSOLIDATOR WILL BE STAIN RESISTANT AND WATER RESISTANT FOR A PERIOD OF 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF INSTALLATION ON HONED OR NON-POLISHED STONE BY AN APPLICATOR ACCREDITED BY THE COMPANY OR DIRECTLY INSTALLED BY THE COMPANY DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMPANY'S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND IN CONJUNCTION WITH KINLOCH'S EAP OR NANO1000 PRODUCTS.  Expected wear will vary depending on hardness and texture of surface, type of area, and surface wear. Company does not warranty against dirt and soil accumulation on floors. Regular cleaning will be needed to keep surfaces looking new. Any claim for a warranty must be made in writing and sent to Company with supporting materials and access to the property for inspection and testing as requested by Company. Company will thereafter provide replacement product for CONSOLIDATOR found to be defective. THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The remedy stated herein is an exclusive remedy and Company shall not be responsible for any other damages, including labor or any incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability or other legal theory.
